Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Nodelizer, the company that makes Nodelizer, keeps about you when you use the app, this website and the waitlist: why, who else handles it, and for how long. We are the controller of your personal data, which means we decide how it’s used and we’re responsible for it. The policy is the same for everyone, wherever you live.

In short: your projects stay on your computer, we only get what we need to run the online parts, and we never sell your data or use your work to train AI models.

What stays on your computer

Your projects, boards, wiki pages and the files in them are folders on your computer. We don’t see them unless you put a project in cloud storage or use a file in a generation.

Some features run entirely on your computer and send us nothing: selecting and cutting out objects, removing backgrounds, cleaning up voice recordings, and working in Blender. The models they use are downloaded to your computer once.

If you connect an agent such as Claude Code or Codex, it runs on your computer under its maker’s terms. What it sends to its maker is between you and them.

Your account

When you create an account we get your email address, your name if you give one, and an ID from the service that handles sign in. We also keep a label for the computer you sign in on and a record of your session, so we can sign you out everywhere if you ask.

We use this to give you access, to tell you about your purchases, renewals and storage, and to answer you when you write to us.

Prompts, files and results

When you press Generate, the app sends us your prompt, the settings you chose and any files connected to the node: images, video or sound. We pass them to the AI service that runs the model you picked, which makes the result.

  • Files you add to a generation stay in our private storage only until the job uses them, and are deleted automatically within a day.
  • Results stay in our private storage for 7 days so the app can download them, and are then deleted. After that they only exist on your computer.
  • We keep each job’s prompt and settings for 90 days after it finishes, to handle refunds and problems, and then delete them. The record that the job ran and what it cost stays, without its content.
  • Price quotes keep only a fingerprint of your prompt, never the words.

Voice recordings

If you make a voice with the Voice node, we receive the recording you give it. A speech to text service writes down what is said, and a voice service turns the recording into a voice the Speech node can use. We only do this after you confirm the voice is yours or that you have permission to copy it.

We keep the recording, its transcript and the voice file until you delete the voice in Settings or delete your account, and we use them only to speak in that voice when you ask.

Cleaning up a recording in the sound editor happens on your computer. Nothing is sent.

Cloud storage

If you turn on cloud storage for a project, copies of its files are kept in your account’s private storage so they can follow you to your other computers. Only the projects you choose are uploaded. Your sign in details, caches, downloaded models and Blender itself are not.

Your files are private. We don’t scan or browse them. We only look at specific files if we receive a credible report, a request from a competent authority or a court order, and only as far as needed to act on it.

We keep cloud copies while your plan is active. When it ends, they stay available to download for 30 days and are then deleted, usually within a week. A deleted file can remain with our storage provider for up to 30 more days while deletion completes. Deleting your account deletes your cloud content right away.

Payments

Payments go through our payment processor. Your card details go straight to it, and we never see or store your full card number. We receive your name, email, billing country and postal code or address, which we need to work out tax and issue invoices, and a record of each payment.

The law requires us to keep payment and invoice records for years, so we keep them for up to ten years, even after you delete your account. After deletion they are kept under a pseudonym instead of your name and email.

Email

We send you emails about purchases, renewals, failed payments, refunds and cloud storage. They are part of the service and never carry marketing. When you write to us, we keep the conversation for as long as we need it to help you, and a record of it afterwards.

The waitlist

When you join the waitlist we keep the email address you type and the time you sent it, only to tell you when Nodelizer is ready to download. The waitlist runs on an online form service that stores your address for us. We keep it until we’ve written to you that Nodelizer is out, or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first.

This website

The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or trackers. Its fonts come from the site itself. Our hosting provider, like any host, sees your IP address when a page loads.

Who else handles your data

We don’t sell your data or share it for advertising. We share it only with the companies that help us run Nodelizer, only what each one needs, and under contracts that limit what they may do with it. They handle:

  • Servers and the database.
  • Hosting for this website, and file storage: files added to generations, results, voices and cloud storage.
  • Payments.
  • Sending email.
  • The waitlist form.
  • The AI services that run the models you pick. Each one receives the prompt, settings and files of the generations you send to it, and may keep them for a limited time under its own terms. Where a service lets us choose, we ask it not to store your request.

If you want to know which companies these are right now, write to support@nodelizer.com and we’ll tell you. We may also share data when the law, a court order or a competent authority requires it, or to protect people from fraud or harm.

Data across borders

We and the companies that help us run Nodelizer work in several countries, mostly the United States, so your data may be handled outside the country where you live. We only send it where that’s needed to provide the service you asked for, and only to companies that commit to protecting it, with the safeguards the law requires for those transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.

Why we’re allowed to use it

Privacy laws such as the GDPR in Europe and the UK and the LGPD in Brazil ask us to have a legal reason for each use of your data. These are ours:

  • To provide the service you signed up for: your account, generations, voices, cloud storage and purchases.
  • To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records.
  • For our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and preventing fraud and abuse, for example by limiting how many requests come from one address. For this we only keep a scrambled form of IP addresses, for a short time.
  • With your consent, for the waitlist and for making a voice. You can withdraw it at any time.

How long we keep it

  • Account details: while your account exists.
  • Files added to a generation: up to a day.
  • Results: 7 days.
  • Prompts and settings: 90 days after the job finishes.
  • Voices: until you delete them or your account.
  • Cloud storage: while your plan is active, then 30 more days.
  • Payment and invoice records: up to 10 years.
  • Waitlist email: until Nodelizer is out and we’ve told you.

Deleting your account

To delete your account, write to support@nodelizer.com from the email on it. We stop any renewal and settle anything still open, such as a refund you’re owed. Then we delete your sign in, cloud storage, voices and the contents of your jobs, and replace your name and email in the records we have to keep with a pseudonym. Our payment processor keeps its own payment records under its legal obligations.

A deleted account can’t be recovered. Files on your computers are never touched; delete them yourself if you want them gone.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you whether we hold data about you, show it to you, correct it, give you a copy to take elsewhere, delete it, or limit how we use it, and to tell you who we share it with. You can object to how we use it, and withdraw consent you gave at any time. If the law where you live gives you more rights, you have those too.

Using these rights never changes the price you pay or the service you get.

Write to support@nodelizer.com from the email on your account, so we know the request is yours. It is also how you reach the person responsible for data protection at Nodelizer. We answer within 15 days. If you think we’ve handled your data badly, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live or work.

Security

Files we store are private and only reachable through links that expire within minutes. Sign in credentials on your computer are encrypted by your operating system. No system is perfect, so if we ever learn of a breach that puts you at risk, we tell you and the authorities, as the law requires.

Children

Nodelizer is for people 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has given us data, write to us and we’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we tell you by email or in the app before it applies. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
